Welcome to Club Pyrénées, situated at the gateway of the Pyrenees surrounded by stunning scenery an ideal base for all holidays, fishing, cycling, (both road and mountain) hiking, hunting(with licence) near to the best cols in the region Col des Ares, Port de Bales and Col de Menthe. A cyclists or hikers dream, following the route of the Tour de France by a succession of peaks and troughs to be compensated on your decent through unique panoramic veiws across the Pyrenees. Mauleon Barousse is a medievil  french village in the Barousse Valley,  

Club Pyrénées  offers 9 well equipped luxurious self catering apartments decorated and furnished to reflect the tranquil, relaxing ambience of the area. You will be spoilt for choice for ways in which to relax here, swim in the pool to awake the senses, sooth aching muscles in the sauna or hot tub, relax with a good book on your private balcony or enjoy a few glasses of wine in the company of others in the cosy court yard, each gite can accommodate from 2 - 8 persons.

 You can partake in canyoning or canoeing, even  rafting down some of the most impressive gorges in  France. The area is riddled with dramatic show caves of which the Grottes des Gargas is a prime example.
For the more sedate there are many Chateaux, Museums and other places of interest to visit in particular the ’Maison du Source’ situated in  Mauléon-Barousse.
There is a host of restaurants to choose from, serving regional gastronomic cuisine, all that is bad for your figure but a delight for the taste buds.
Fishing also proves popular with many visiting the area and there is plenty of coarse fishing in the fast flowing rivers.
